Take 6 photos of the space. Try to compose the photos in a way that they might be your final renders at the end of this assignment. Try to focus on any objectivity, as well as the scope of the space. Think about how you are looking at the space; at eye-level looking through, up and down, or looking over from a balcony. Try to maintain a presence and place in the area that human point-of-view can exist from.

2. Analyse the photos. Try to identify the work that you will have to do to achieve a recreation of this space and its context. Use a graphics package like Illustrator or Photoshop to sketch an analysis over each photo. Consider the following:

• Identify patterns in the space, structure, repeatable geometry or assemblies can help fill out your model quickly.

• List all the materials that you see, including different surface treatments and textures.

• Address all the transparent surfaces that might appear, how will model or show what is beyond those windows?

• What objects, furniture or distinctive elements, are contained?

• Look for the finer detail elements that can be seen in the photo, can you see bolts in the structure, if you can then you should include that in your model.

• What are the different lighting conditions, where is the light sourced from; artificial lights (how many and what size?), or sunlight (what time of day has the best conditions?)
