· Did certain material either stand out or not stand out? Why?
· How has the material altered or affirmed your perspective of your communication?
· Consider cultural implications that have affected your learning and your perspective on communication
· Connect back to the five communication goals you created. What goals have you accomplished thus far? And can you establish goals for progressing forward in the program and professionally.
· Did you accomplish some goals? What contributed to your accomplishing of these goals?
· Why were able to accomplish some goals and not other goals?
· What potential goals do you think would be applicable moving forward in this program and professionally?
· How will continue to accomplish communication goals?
· How does advocacy and anti-oppressive practice affect your goals?
· You will also discuss how you believe your communication will affect your future SSW practice.
· Throughout the semester we have discussed communication from a holistic lens (the physical environment, relationships, emotions, culture, verbal cues etc). What implications are there for connecting with different populations/demographics based on your communication?
· What struggles could potentially arise?
· How might you find more ease because of your communication approach?
· Why is continual reflection critical as an SSW when looking at our communication?
