Over the past few weeks, you've learned how the matrix of domination is made up of various systems of oppression that interlock and operate simultaneously at all times in our lives. Bell Hooks used the phrase White Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy to describe how White Supremacy, Capitalism, and Patriarchy, three systems of oppression with distinct characteristics, operate at the same time and shape our lived experiences. For this post, you will come up with your own phrase that incorporates three systems of domination, like Bell Hooks. Then, you will explain how the interlocked systems of oppression you selected may impact an individual(s). Be imaginative and provide a fictional example that can help support your concept. You want to think of the different systems of oppression that exist and combine three of them to describe how they work simultaneously. For example, the systems of oppression I would select would be Ableism, Ageism, and Capitalism. My phrase would be the following: Abelist Ageist Capitalist. Then I would explain what it means, how it works, who it may impact, etc.
