Individual Reflective Report (750 words)
Despite its power to improve learning and practice, reflection does not seem to be a spontaneous activity, as students need to actively dedicate time and effort to reflect. Keeping a reflective diary as the course progresses and you prepare for assignment 1 will assist you in the development of this practice. Your reflective report for this module should relate to the group assignment and you are expected to reflect on both the process and outcome.
To complete this task, you should keep minutes of group meetings and other activities related to your assignment. As assignment 1 should be completed at the end of week 2 of the course, keeping brief daily records will help to complete this task but also improve your study technique.
You may wish to add the daily record/ an extract of the daily record and your group meeting minutes to the appendices of the final individual report.
The report should be written in the first person and should not be a mere description of the topics and activities covered during the group meetings and assignment preparation.
The core of your learning journal should be your thoughts and feelings about your learning and these should be drawn upon in writing a reflective essay. As the word count is short, you need to use it well to communicate clearly and effectively.
