All future educators need to be knowledgeable about and be able to compare, contrast, explain, and critique the state, national, and international assessments and the results of these assessments.
Educators need to understand the value of various assessments and the link to student learning.
In this activity, imagine that you are a teacher leader who will investigate, learn about, and present information on various assessments.
You will explore 3 different types of assessment (choose ONE of the assessments to focus and write a response). Use the information below to guide you through each type of assessment.
