Compare and contrast the activism strategies employed by Julia Butterfly Hill and John Francis. How did their respective approaches shape public perception of their cause, and the impact they were able to make? Do you agree with their perspectives?

Both activists used drastic personal measures to convey their messages - Hill spending over two years atop a redwood tree and Francis taking a vow of silence while walking across the country.
