Problem: Balancing your school life and your home life is extremely difficult! Often, we have discussions at work about serving and living life with a purpose. I think many of us believe our purpose is life is to serve others and lift up those around us. I certainly feel more fulfilled in life when I have helped someone with a problem or made sure their needs are met, even if it means sacrificing my own needs. The difficult part here is, we still need to take care of ourselves. Bettering ourselves through fitness, spiritual health, and education is a good thing, but sometimes we feel selfish or upset with ourselves because we don't feel like we are fulfilling our servant role. Class, how can we find a balance between serving others and taking the time to better ourselves? How can we remind ourselves that it is okay to make our education a priority?
