Strength - The candidate has good engineering/technical skills.  He is able to work without supervision and demonstrated this in the majority of work he undertook to develop major and minor road projects to readiness for the delivery phase.  This included engaging with internal and external stakeholders, consultants and others to obtain project clearances and approvals, (heritage/environment) resource construction materials, develop road design  and compile tender documents.

Weakness: It would be in Candidates's performance in meeting deadlines and not seeking support from colleagues / manager's around him when delays or problems arose.  His tendancy was to work alone to try and resolve the problem, often not before someone else recognised it. His reporting skills on progress of projects and timeliness could improve.
