During these sessions we will deal with legal analysis and how to use law and legal standards in relation to solving a legal issue. A legal question/issue always relates to facts so the legal procedure is about connecting legal questions such as responsibilities, obligations and rights etc to facts in a certain situation/scenario. In order to come to a solution or conclusion of legal issue/problems identified, forms of legal reasoning/argumentation of law and correct use of legal material need to be addressed. We will focus on the procedural steps of legal analysis: the legal issue (deriving from facts); relevant law (depending on the situation and classification of legal areas); the application and interpretation of law and how to solve any cases of conflicts of norms; and how to logically argue for a solution/conclusion to the legal issue.
