Let's imagine that someone claims that companies committing themselves to an ethnically diverse workforce perform better financially. What is the trustworthiness of this claim? When there is no evidence against or in favour of a claim, trustworthiness is 50/50. It's the same as flipping a coin - the claim could be true, or not, we simply don't know because there is no evidence available.

Assess, and justify your assessment of, the trustworthiness of a cross-sectional study that supports this claim. What kind of study design would have much higher trustworthiness? Explain.
