For this case, you are required to write a two-page, double-spaced report about the insights you gain during a business interview or presentation. Your options to complete this case include:

1) Interview a business manager within an established business

If you choose to interview a business manager, your first task is to find someone who is employed at a local/regional firm. This manager should ideally have faced - or currently faces - the development of a new element within his or her organization (i.e. a new product, service, department, market, etc.)

Your interview will focus on learning about their experience developing the new element. Therefore, your paper will discuss the insights you gained during the interview. 2) Interview a startup at the Volusia Business Incubator

If you choose to visit the Volusia Business Incubator, located at the Daytona Beach Airport, you will interview a startup founder. Your interview will focus on learning about the successes and challenges this startup has experienced. Therefore, your paper will discuss the insights you gained during the interview. Make sure your paper doesn't only summarize the interview - focus at least half of your paper on describing the insights you gained.

How to schedule an appointment with a startup at the incubator?

To schedule an interview with an incubator client you must contact the incubator in advance (ideally with one week anticipation).
