Assignment: EDP Conceptual Map on the Types of Knowledge and Application in News

Objective of the activity

Through this activity, students will identify and exemplify the various types of knowledge, which in turn will allow them to achieve greater depth, clarity and precision when presenting their approaches to a social problem through critical thinking.

Task

1. First: During we approach the world of knowledge and knowledge associated with the social sciences. Use the class material to reference or search for information using reliable academic sources. For this task, you will make a conceptual map with the different types of knowledge identified in the class material. There is a lot of information on the Internet on how to make a concept map. 2. Second: You will then find three news items in the newspaper, summarize them, and then indicate what kind of knowledge is involved in each news item and why. Three news, three different types of knowledge.

3. Third: In the activity of Module 1, My social commitment, you chose a social problem in your community, now reflect on that problem and identify what kind of knowledge this problem can be related to and why.
