Question

In earlier chapters, you learned how to interpret medication orders and calculate the amount to administer. These skills allow you to determine the dose to be given and how often it will be given. Occasionally you may encounter situations where the required dose is compromised. For example, if you give a patient their oral medication and they vomit within five minutes of taking it, should you re-administer the medication or wait to give it again at the next scheduled time, or would a different dosage form be administered? Please elaborate on your answer.
