A few best practices to keep in mind when implementing change plans across borders, leaders should consider who will sponsor change capability and who will be affected by the change. Leaders will also want to create a roadmap that helps guide them through the change and can stay consistent in what they are wanting to achieve. Ensures these Leaders should also keep in mind that taking consistent action with situations that may occur during the change process and then effectively communicate to the organization, so they are not left in the dark and become fearful. When implementing change whether it is global or the home nation, leaders need to understand the culture of their environment and how their employees may react, as well as the investors. Leaders need to let the organization's members know why they are changing, what needs change, how the change will affect them, and what the future looks like with this change. Lastly, leaders need to provide effective sponsorship and can ease the change through initiatives.
These practices will work because once the leaders know the culture of the organization and the surrounding environment, they will be able to predict the effect of the change and how they can better manage the process and how they can incentivize to encourage the employees.
