You are the manager for a consultancy project. The client requested you to analyze and propose how to finance their expansion. During a brainstorming session, a team member mentioned that a certain debt issuance will result to an after-tax cost of debt of 7.45%. This is based on the YTM formula. While another proposes a different debt issuance resulting to a cost of 7.43% using the interpolation method. What will you do to further analyze these options and finally make a proposal?
