How to define customers when talking about Lean Six Sigma; they can be customers in a traditional sense. They can also be internal and external business partners. Our colleagues at work are definitely our customers. I actually consider my work output subject to measures of quality. If I produce poor work with errors, it will be less in demand; if I start to make small improvements consistently, I will slowly increase my credibility.
