All forms of written communication become a permanent record of ideas, incidents, proposals and other facts. The record helps business owner(s) access information quickly, especially if it is written in a digital medium. Written communication is also used in legal proceedings, and can become the only defense for adverse legal actions taken against the company. For example, a former employee could say there were no grounds for his firing and he might sue you. If his employee file clearly documented complaints and code of ethics violations over the course of his employment, you can demonstrate cause. The digital age has transformed how businesses communicate with consumers, vendors and partners. Written and verbal business communication should be professional, clear and concise. Don't fall victim to poorly written or oral communication, before you realize just how important written or verbal communication is for your business.
Curriculum Vitae, translated from Latin means, “the course of one’s life.” Academics, scientists and medical professionals use their CVs to present a complete but succinct summary and highlight of their qualifications. It is a living document that will add to and revise over the lifetime of the career. It is used to clearly identify qualifications and emphasize strengths by presenting education, skills, and achievements related to academic, work, and volunteer experience. In the past, resumes usually included an objective statement at the beginning. It was a way of summarizing the type of position. The advantage of a profile statement over an objective statement is that it gives the opportunity to position for the job more precisely.
A formal report is usually written to someone in another company or organization. Occasionally it is written for a senior manager in the same company, or for someone with whom the writer has little regular contact. Usually it is longer than an informal report and requires more extensive research. Unless you are a consultant, you are unlikely to be asked to write a formal report often.Proposals are divided into two general groups; solicited and unsolicited proposals. Solicited proposals are a response to demands made by people, firms or companies, in attempt to fulfill a specific requirement. It is common practice that such entities announce/distribute a RFP (Request for Proposal) or CFP (Call for Proposal), stating what it is they are looking for. Subsequently, a solicited proposal is a document written in reaction to such a demand, hoping to fulfil the prerequisites of the RFP or CFP.
You are required to write report based on research findings:
a. How to defend positions to initiate solutions to problems with effective oral and written communication of a selected organization?
b. Prepare informal and formal reports that include analysis and offer recommendations based on the issues of a selected organization.
