For this assignment, you are responsible to teach the final session of this class.

Instructions

Create a PowerPoint Presentation with 15 slides that summarize the concepts, theories, definitions that will help your classmates to understand the evolution of social media in our society.

Your presentation should also provide an overview of what was discussed in the course, this includes: sociology and social media and how social networking sites have influenced collective behavior, social movements, and social change. While you want to make it interactive and fun it should also relate to a social change and / or movements that you may already be familiar with.

Your slides, while being creative in terms of examples, pictures, videos, or audio of your choice, need to address the following:

Help students understand the major influences in social networking sites and how they have been used to cause social change and social movements. Chose several movements or focus on one specific social change/movement.

Explain and show how to apply the sociological perspective / sociological imagination to a wide range of collective behavior.

Present the benefits and challenges of social media in our modern life.
