Case Study: The primary objective of this is to allow you to go beyond the headlines in the daily news and to examine analytical and rhetorical strategies used in the construction of a news media item in relation to a topic related to law and public policy. For this assignment, i have selected a recent article (not older than 4 months) from the popular media (i.e., aimed at the general public not at experts or professional groups) such as CBC News, Globe & Mail, the NY Times, YouTube, blogs, etc and provide a critical analysis on the implications of the relationship between law and public policy. The media article should relate to one of the topics of the given.
