In recent years many cultural institutions have been cataloguing and digitizing their collections for public access. Considering that many of the religious illuminations in these chapters took years to create with some intended for use in personal worship, how then does the mass access of these religious works alter the content or perception of the illuminations? Which manuscript images would you like to be able to more closely examine? What is significant about the work you've chosen- historically, contextually and visually?
