Original question was:
Describe the project you selected for the Topic 8 assignment. Explain why the project is important. Discuss two different forms you could use to share the results. Discuss when each form would be appropriate and how the target audience helps to determine the communication method.
Student response
The selected topic in the project is to test whether Young male students under the age of 13 are exposed to sexual matters more than female gender. This is an assumption that has been made over the years, and we need to get facts about it. Therefore, it is essential to know the truth concerning this assumption so that appropriate decision should be taken by the curriculum in education to give them different information regarding sexual issues (Devereaux, 2006).
Early sex involvement is risky for young people and possesses them to many dangerous hazards. Some of the best examples of early sex involvement include issues such as school dropouts due to first pregnancies and infection of sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS. Therefore, this should be a hot topic since the young generation need to be given the right information regarding sex (Vandegrift & Dawson, 2016).
The results of this study shall be shared in various forms. One of the ways that shall be adopted includes producing printouts and share with the concerned stakeholders. This is commonly called mass communication. The printout involves preparing reports which shall be transmitted to the public through direct mails. This is the most appropriate channel of communication, especially to the people who cannot be reached in person. The second method is organizing a public forum or attending public gatherings and share information through open communication. This is more appropriate to the audience, which is available in person.
