The relationship between the people and institutions that "invented" race in the Middle Ages and the people who "invented" Black-ness for the purposes of chattel slavery in the Americas--the centrality of Europe, in other words. I wonder if her argument would still work if she claimed that race was invented in, say, medieval Afghanistan.
