INSTRUCTIONS
The infographic should be about organizational design and promote department effectiveness. There are three primary objectives to cover in the infographic:
1.Examine two concrete examples of how the organization's design can influence a specific HIM function or role.
The first example should reflect a positive influence on an HIM function.
The second example should reflect a negative influence on an HIM function.
The HIM functions should be different from one another.
2.Using two concrete, realistic examples from the CDI (Continuous Documentation Integrity) office, evaluate the potential impact of innovation and creativity on department productivity. Both should have a positive impact on productivity.
3.Finally, use the remote work scenario below to recommend training and development based on the performance described.
The emergency room coding staff was recently deployed to work remotely from their own home offices. Each coder signed a Remote Worker Agreement that established a required a 35 chart daily average production and a 95% coding accuracy.
After 3 months of successful remote work, one of five ER coders did not make the production average in the 4th month.
The infographic should include a notes page that describes the content of the infographic in complete sentences. The infographic should be orderly, easy to follow, attractive, and professional. Grammar and spelling are essential, and any resources used should be cited.
