Question: Consider that the following Petri net model executes 1000 times, with the firing delay (in minutes) of transitions T1 and T2 being independent, U[0, 1], uniform random variates on the [0,1] interval. Transition T1 fires with a constant firing delay of 1 minute.

Also, consider the system is ideal, which means there is absolutely no difference (hardware or software) between transitions T1 and T2. Discuss how the model executes for a few (3-5) execution steps and propose an example where you could see its use.

Note: Do not consider token conservation; this means that a transition fires when there is a token in each of its input arcs, and every time a transition fires, it deposits a token in each of the places that have an arc coming out from the transition.
