Question: Think about how well your organization's store/location design aligns with the author's observations. Does it make innovative use of visual merchandising to appeal to customers' sensibilities? Explain your observations.

Consider the merchandising concepts you have studied this week. Visit two retail businesses in your area to view the same product in two places; take note of the various merchandising elements that are used. Based on your observations, compare and contrast the 4Ps of the product within each store: price (is it cheaper at one store than another), place (where was it located within the store), promotion (was it on sale), product (inventory, facing, size variation).

Compare and contrast how the elements are used with the way they are used in your business or organization. What similarities or differences do you observe?
