Design a detailed process flow map of the home care process from initial physician order through the home care order fulfillment / reimbursement until it reaches the patient. Select a specific category such as CPAP or home ventilator. Your paper should include:

1) Details that are criteria for an acceptable / qualifying order.
2) Identifying how orders are classified, coded and the allowables for the classification category.
3) A detailed outline of each step that the order needs to pass to end at the patient for a home medical device.
4) Outline of what is defined as acceptable use/ patient compliance.

Accompanied with this flow sheet should be a written paper explaining what is designated as patient compliance for your specified device from a selected payer source. How a home care company gets reimbursed for their products. How the disease process is coded to the medical devices and what that classification means in regards to getting additional medical devices of the same classification.
