For your project, you will want to focus on a culture portrayed as the other in American culture. Some of the groups students have chosen in the past include African Americans, Asians, the Homeless, Jews, Muslims, Latinos, immigrants, LGBTQ, people with disabilities, the poor, people living with mental health issues, teen mothers, the formerly incarcerated, and women. You can also choose to focus on a group not on this list.

You will be doing an online group presentation.

If you submit an online presentation, each student should have at least four slides clearly labeled with their name.
Whatever your format, you will want to have a central argument about how the culture you are studying is othered and provide examples from your research to support your argument.
