Overview

Now that you have selected an individual course in your program as well as its related syllabus, it is time to develop your overall course chart. A course chart gives you a snapshot view of the entire course (either 8 or 16 weeks.)

Instructions

For this portion of your Curriculum Design Project, you need to design an overall course chart with each item as stipulated below.

1. Find the example below and discover how the critical features of a course chart.

I. Module: Week numbers: You have either 8 or 16 weeks. This choice is up to you.

II. Reading and Study: all forms of reading or learning required for the module.

A. Textbook reading
B. Presentations
C. Videos
D. Lecture notes
E. Etc

III. Assignments: all assignments due each module.

IV. Points: the point totals for each particular assignment. (should be consistent with your syllabus)

2. Complete the course chart using the template provided separately (It is the same as below, but available as a separate document in your course.) Simply replace the information in the document with your own.
