Part one: Essay
Choose ONE of the videos below and watch it carefully.
From your observation, write an essay that explains how the children are developing across all domains (physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional). Discuss how the domains are connected to theories and influencing factors.

- Watch the video multiple times, each time noting down what you have observed for each of the domains: physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional.
- Ensure that you have a paragraph for each domain which links to the observation.
- Once you have covered each of the domains, start a new paragraph that discusses how domains can be interrelated.
- Throughout your essay, make references to the relevant theories and literature including Te Whdriki (2017).

Part two: Information Sheet - Rights of the Child
Design an Information Sheet for parents that can be used by teachers to explain how early childhood centres support the rights and wellbeing of the child. Include sufficient information to show your understanding of the key legal and ethical requirements that promote child protection, wellbeing and rights in practice.
