As we have discussed, advertisements use a number of strategies to attempt to coerce people in to buying things from their company. One of the most common tactics is to convince someone they need a specific product in order to fit into our society. Find an advertisement, it can be a TV commercial, a magazine advert, and online one, that attempts to convince people that they need the product in order to fit in. Write a short 5 paragraph essay demonstrating how that specific advertisement uses this tactic. Please make sure you offer at least one specific example drawn from the advertisement itself. You must also cite the advertisement in the essay, and have a proper MLA bibliographical entry following the paper. Do not forget word count, many of you have.
