The best tool I could recommend for finding out the best way to purchase a home or refinance would be realtor.com, as the tools provided on the site are extremely valuable. The news tab on it alone can easily help inform a buyer about what is happening in the housing market currently and help them to figure out if its time to get a house or whether the prices just increased due to a certain regulation or other circumstance. They also have other tools like the Buy, Sell, and rent options which help to give clients a general idea of what the cost of a home is and how much they should save up for a downpayment. The My home tab is also extremely useful, as having a program that helps to show the value and investments you should put in your house is very helpful if you plan on making your home a profitable endeavor for when you sell it or give it to your next of kin. They do also have a mortgage tab which definitely helps to consolidate everything into one site, as it is a lot easier for clients when everything is just laid out in one place for them.

I personally think this tool is better than others just cause of how streamlined the process is and how simple the site is to use compared to some others where it can be a bit more complicated to find certain tabs for like rent or selling properties. Overall, Realtor.com is an extremely valuable site that provides a plethora of knowledge. However, the one bad side of it is of course their Realtor tab which is designed to take clients away from you, however, I'm not too worried about it as when people develop a personal connection with someone they usually want to stay with them, as long as the rates are not ridiculous.
