Question: Are there aspects of a Christian worldview that would lead someone to a set of ethical principles similar to the ones described in the text? (Note that ethics refers to behaviors, things you should or should not do, while a worldview refers more to a perspective about the world and the people in it. Another way of saying it would be that a worldview refers to your basic understanding of how things work, of what guides or motivates people's behavior. Because someone sees the world and people in a certain way, they then act in certain ways.) In other words, why should researchers inform participants about their research, get their consent to participate, protect them from harm during the research, and not cause them undue stress or danger during their participation? Does this say something about how social researchers view the people they are studying? If so, what does it say? What is their basic view of people?
