Click on the router, change to CLI tab

Click on the host, choose Desktop tab, and click IP Configuration.

Verify Connectivity
Ping is a command to verify the connectivity. Try to ping router, the other side of router interface, and the other PC one by one.

The lab is getting familiar with the lab environment. The meaning of the command and configuration will be further studied in the following lectures

Three years ago Diane started her own consulting business. She has been so successful that she now has several people working for her and many clients. Their consulting work included advising on how to set up corporate intranets, designing database management systems, and advising about security. Presently she is designing a database management system for the personnel office of a medium-sized company. Diane has involved the client in the design process, informing the CEO, the director of computing, and the director of personnel about the progress of the system. It is now time to make decisions about the kind and degree of security to build into the system. Diane has described several options to the client. Because the system is going to cost more than they planned, the client has decided to opt for a less secure system. She believes the information they will be storing is extremely sensitive. It will include performance evaluations, medical records for filing insurance claims, salaries, and so forth. With weak security, employees working on client machines may be able to figure out ways to get access to this data, not to mention the possibility of on-line access from hackers. Diane feels strongly that the system should be much more secure. She has tried to explain the risks, but the CEO, director of computing and director of personnel all agree that less security will do. What should she do? Should she refuse to build the system as they request?

seasonal brews for holidays and other occasions.
The brewery is located in a tourist town with a local population of about 250,000 that swells by an additional 100,000 during the summer months. Through the local chamber of
commerce, you have connected with a number of restaurants in your area, and a few have become customers. You have been servicing those customers with phone calls and
visits, but that is time consuming for both you and the restaurants' management. Your area has approximately 100 restaurants that could serve your beer, and with your brewing
capabilities, you could reasonably handle 15 to 20 restaurants as regular customers-if you could attract the business and find a way to work with your customers more efficiently.

SalesTeam was founded three years ago and has grown quickly since then. SalesTeam's outsourced salespeople prospect, cultivate, and close new business for clients just as they would if they worked directly for the client. Each month, the salesperson is required to submit documentation to SalesTeam's director of outsourcing regarding the number of calls that they made, the number of meetings they had with potential clients, and the status of their sales prospects.. SalesTeam then compile the information in Excel spreadsheets to pass on to the client. These reports allow SalesTeam's management and the client to determine how sales are progressing and ensure that the salesperson is achieving their goals.
However, some clients have complained that they cannot easily upload the information into their systems, or that the information in the spreadsheets is incomplete. As a result, clients are missing sales opportunities. The leadership at SalesTeam has determined that they need a more sophisticated and automated way to track and report on their employees' activities to enhance the quality of their communication with clients and to improve the results of their sales team.
