However, the last few years we have seen a sharp shift in philosophy due to prison overcrowding and unsurmountable Corrections budgets. Many states are now in the process of trying to identify ways to cut spending and reduce the number of individuals sentenced to prison.

Do you think that cutting state Corrections budgets is the appropriate thing to due based on the current state of the country?
