Step 1: Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), which is a subset of Artificial Intelligence (AI), is purported to be achievable within decades. AGI refers to a general purpose type of intelligence achievable by a machine. AGI has been nicknamed "super intelligence" because it will extend beyond human intelligence.

Physicist and AI Researcher at MIT Max Tegmark explains the necessity of identifying the destination of AGI; in other words, we must boldly explore the long-term challenges associated with AGI so we can become proactive as opposed to reactive regarding its potentially limitless capability. Please watch his Ted Talk, which discusses AGI through a long-term lens: How to Get Empowered Not Overpowered by AI (17:15).

Step 2: Ponder a question, curiosity, or fear you have concerning AGI. You can create your own question, curiosity, or fear, or you can base it on one of the following examples:

Whose values and wisdom should guide AGI?
How should AGI be held accountable? In other words, should humans control it, should machines control it, or should there be a combination and if so, how would that work?
How will AGI remove human biases, such as racial, cultural, and gender biases, from its algorithms?
How might AGI impact human intelligence?
How will AGI stay beneficial versus destructive?
What impact will AGI have on human employment?
