In this assignment, you'll be writing a blog post that tells your readers what they need to know about blogging. Your post should be at least two to three paragraphs long and should function as a how-to guide for novice bloggers.

Make sure to address the following questions in your post:

How should a great blog be designed and formatted?

What kind of features should a great blog include?

How should a great blog use different types of media?

What might the future of blogging hold?

There is probably no single right answer to any of these questions. What's important is that you try to convince people of your opinions. Try to be specific and use plenty of concrete examples.

Review your notes from the lessons for information that might help you with the assignment.

1. It would be very hard to write a guide on blogging unless you'd spent some time on blogs that already exist. Choose a blog that was discussed in the unit or one you found on your own. Write the name of the blog below. Then briefly describe it. Why does the blog exist?

2. How is this blog designed and formatted? Write down at least two specific details. What do you like about what you see? What don't you like?

3. What features does this blog include? Write down at least two specific features. Which features do you like? Which don't you like?

4. What media does this blog use? Try to find as many different types of media on the blog as you can. Which media do you find useful? Which do you find useless?

5. Is there some feature that you think the blog is missing? Can you think of something that would make the blog better?
