1. What do you notice about how Ron and Clint respond to feedback? What similarities or differences did you notice in the ways in which Ron and Clint responded to the feedback they received and the ways in which you responded to feedback on your Flash Narrative or Rhetorical Analysis?
2. About 5 minutes into the video, the threshold concept dealing with Context pops up with a statement suggesting that peer review is also contextual. Look at the student rhetorical analysis essays you will or have already given feedback on. What context informed your response and/or will impact how your peers will receive your feedback? In addition step back from the feedback you have received so far on your flash narrative and rhetorical analysis. In what ways does the context for this feedback play a role in you understanding and receiving the feedback?
3. How did Ron and Clint decide how to deal with the feedback they received? That is, what did they actually *do* with the feedback? What rationales did they cite for how they used the feedback? Lastly, how did you decide and how are you deciding to deal with the feedback on your writing? We are not looking for a list of the revisions you made, but rather a reflection on how you made decisions about your writing as you received feedback.
4. Return to the feedback you have received on your writing in our course, in particular on the Rhetorical Analysis. Given the conversation here, what insight do you have in re-seeing the feedback you received? Is there something you missed? Did your own emotional response shape how you engaged the feedback? How might you now better apply the feedback you received? Offer one or two specific examples which illustrate what you discuss here.
