Every text book suggests that performance evaluation processes are very important for organizations. Yet, much of my experience says that employees have very mixed experiences about how performance is managed and how performance evaluations are conducted. I would like to hear comments about feelings/thoughts and perceptions about this issue. Examples of good/bad/mediocre practices.
