Introduction
In this individual case analysis, you need to analyse approaches to organisational change at IBM. You will analyse how its structure has changed and will need to change, explaining its strategy, environmental factors and applying theoretical change models to both.
Instructions
You should write an APA format case analysis report of 1,500 to 1,800 words in a Word document of PDF file. This should be double-spaced, in 12-point font and include a title page with your name, course, assessment title and Professor's name. This case study should contain a minimum of five academic sources, including the article provided and your key course textbook.

Carefully read and review the case study provided on IBM:

Your analysis should cover, as a minimum, the following elements:
- Describe the organisation, including the change challenges experienced by it during the period of the article.
- Identify the subsequent changes in organisational structure which were needed as a result of the above.
- Apply relevant change models from Dessler and Chhinzer to analyse how IBM has managed change.
- Identify which stage of the organisational life cycle IBM is currently in and how it reached this stage, using course theory.
- Supply your recommendations for further change at IBM - these recommendations must be your OWN and original thoughts and analyses.
