Assignment:

Monitoring programs based on data collected by patients is a popular time-saving measure. Wearables could decrease the economic burdens of chronic disease as found in the article, Advances in Healthcare Wearable Devices (Iqbal, et. Al. 2021), however, there are also limitations that need to be considered.

Choose a wearable technology, evaluate it's effectiveness according to research data. Then theorize limitations that need to be considered (i.e. How often should a face-to-face visit still occur? Does the battery need to be charged regularly? Are there cases when this device shouldn't be used to monitor a patient? For which reasons?). Consider this as a provider who might ask a patient to use the device.
