They are accountable for ensuring that prescription orders are accurate, identifying whether or not any patients have an allergy, and safely carrying out the process of drug administration. According to Alqenae et al. (2020) article, medication errors are far too common in clinical settings. This study's results highlight how nurses can decrease the risks of medication faults while making certain patients obtain all the medicines prescribed for their care. Focusing on this clinical issue enables nurses to contribute to improving the quality of patient care and care outcomes.
