A rope with mass 8 kg and length 100 m hangs down a well that is 100 deep. The bucked on the end of the rope weighs 3 kg itself. At the start of lifting the bucket it contains 25 kg of water but slowly loses water at a constant rate so that at the top, half of the water is in the bucket.
