A bicycle rider of mass m = 60 kg generates a power of approximately 400 W when riding at a moderate pace. Of this energy, about 25% is used to propel the bicycle, and the remaining 75% goes into heat generated within his body. If none of this heat were lost to the surroundings. The bicycle rider generated 300 J of heat each second. If all this energy is removed from his body by sweating, how much water would he lose each hour by sweating?
