Consider the following two events: a concert begins in Miami, Florida and 5 seconds later (according to a clock at rest on Earth) a different concert begins in NYC. The distance between NYC and Miami, as measured on Earth, is about 1,130 miles. 1 mile = 1.609 km.

(a) How fast would someone have to travel to be present at both events, in units of kilometers per second?

(b) How fast does the Earth move past the person who is present at both events? Neglect the speed of the Earth around the Sun, and the rotational motion of the Earth spinning on its axis.

(c) How much times passes between the two events according to someone at rest on Earth?
