You have been instructed to calculate the amount of time it would take to drain 3/4 of a full, open tank in the shape of a octagon. Water flows from the tank at a rate (Q) that decreases with time. The height of the tank h = 1 meter, the cross-sectional area of the octagon tank (A) is 0.612 square meters and the area of the small circular hole in the bottom of the tank (Ao) is 0.0025 square meters. Letting the water freely flow from the hole in the bottom of the tank, how much time would it take to drain three fourths of the water in the tank?
