A company sells equipment and service contracts. When purchased separately, the equipment costs 9,923, and a 3 year service contract costs 6,811. When purchased together, the costs for both the equipment and service contract are discounted 31 percent of the cost if each were purchased separately. They always deliver equipment the day it is sold.
