An urgent care facility treats an average of 3,600 patients over a period of 3 months. In order to run the facility, every week the management must arrange for 120 hours of doctor’s time and 200 hours of nurse’s time. The hourly rates for doctor’s and nurse’s time are $100 and $40, respectively. Assume there are 12 weeks in 3 month period. Average cost of medicine and other supplies over 3 month period is $24,000. In order to run the facility monthly administrative cost is $10,000. The annual cost of leasing the facility is $30,000. Based on the given information, find the following. Be careful about the units used in the questions.

1. Find the doctor productivity (number of patients treated per hour of doctor’s time).

2. Find multifactor productivity (number of patients treated per dollar spent). Report with 5th decimal accuracy.

3. How much money is spent per patient on an average?

4. If in a particular week 400 patients are expected to visit, how much additional (overtime) doctor’s time needs to be arranged for that week?
