It has been proposed to save fuel in air travel by reducing the air speed. In one instance a Boeing 737 traveling at 520 miles/h uses 2600 gal/h of fuel while traveling at 470 miles/h uses only 2000 gal/h. How much fuel is saved in a 2000 mile trip?
