Topic: After doing some research, take a position on whether the US Supreme Court has encumbered the determination of how much force is warranted to the point that officers' lives are at risk.

Question: In your original post, answer the following:

Should officers be allowed to use the amount of force necessary to overcome the force being used against them without fearing negative legal ramifications? If the officers fear negative legal ramifications, negative publicity, etc. might this lead to them hesitating to use force when it's necessary and therefore placing themselves in greater possible danger?
