You purchased a home for S 180,000 exactly 12 years ago. You financed the purchase with an 80% LTV loan with monthly payments for 30 years at 6.35%. You have made every required payment since then, but you have not paid anything above the required amount. Home values in your neigh- borhood havensen an average of2.75% per year during the last 12 years. How much equity do you have in your home today?
